The Science of the Art of War is a tractate on the use of mathematical knowledge in military practice by the Sword‑bearer of Wroclaw Ignacy Bogatko, who based his work on the lectures of Jesuit and Professor of Mathematics at the University of Lviv Faustyn Grodzicki (1710–1787). The book is dedicated to the Grand Sword‑bearer of Lithuania Janusz Aleksander Sanguszko (1712–1775).
