Format: 178 p., 15.5/20/2. 2 leather cover with relief stamps / stamps of figures visible on the sides of the cover, an inscription reading APAR Vll.

Ex libris: an ex libris “Ex Bibliotheca KLEINIANA” on the paste down. A hand-written ex libris “Anno 1654” on the lower right of the title page. An ex libris “Ex Bibliotheca Gralathiana” on the rear cover with hand-written notes in Latin visible under the pasted ex libris / it is thought that there may be another hand-written ex libris underneath. 

The title page has water marks characteristic to the 17th century. Horizontal lines in the middle of the page, a stylized water mark “knight’s head”. This water mark recurs several times with no clear order. At the beginning of the book, (3) pages are numbered by hand. The whole book is numbered with catchwords. The work is divided into chapters according to the regions of Prussia. The book includes 36 drawings of the coats of arms of the Masters of the Teutonic Order. 

Compiled and published by Johan Daubman (†1573), printer from Lithuania Minor, A Short Summary From the Prussian Chronicle From the Year 1200 Until our Present Times is the first printed Prussian Chronicle. The book is divided into chapters corresponding to the districts of Prussia. The work is illustrated with 36 coats of arms of the Masters of the Teutonic Order.

3rd: The coat of arms of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order Dietrich von Altenburg. Grand Master Dietrich von Altenburg (†1341) led the attack on Pilėnai Castle in 1336. 

4th: The coat of arms of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order Ulrich von Jungingen. Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen (1360–1410) died in the Battle of Grunwald (Battle of Žalgiris).

5th: The coat of arms of the Grand Master of the Teutonic Order and first Duke of Prussia Albrecht von Brandenburg. Grand Master Albrecht von Brandenburg (1490–1568) declared the State of the Teutonic Order a secular Duchy of Prussia in 1525. He became Duke of Prussia and gave a vassal’s pledge of loyalty to the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania Sigismund I the Old.
